Instructions to replace a roll of paper on the Epson Surecolor T5270.
¶ Training Required
- Community Technician Level 2
¶ Before You Begin
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
• Sturdy, close-toed shoes must be worn at all times for traction and stability.

¶ Time to complete
- Less than 10 minutes
¶ Tools Required
- Epson SureColor T5270
¶ Perform a Nozzle Check on the Epson SureColor T5270 SOP
¶ Step-by-Step Guide:

Press the "Maintenance" button on the control panel.

Select "Nozzle Check" and click "OK" on the control panel.

Press "OK" when the LCD screen says "Press OK to print nozzle check pattern."

The printer will print out a barcode with every color. The status of the barcode will determine if we need to perform a head cleaning.

If any segments on the barcode are missing you will want to perform a head cleaning.
You have successfully completed a nozzle check!
¶ Perform a Head Cleaning SOP
¶ Step-by-Step Guide
- Press the "Maintenance" button on the control panel.

Select "Head Cleaning" and press "OK" on the control panel.

Select the print heads in need of cleaning using the arrow keys. Click "OK" on the control panel when done.

The printer will automatically clean the selected print heads to clear any clogs.
