Power on the laser cutter.
Move the laser head to the back of the machine.
With the laser head out of the way, lift out the honeycomb grid and set it aside.
Check inside the interior collection tray for debris. Vacuum out any debris. You can also empty the tray directly into the trash.
Vacuum out any remaining debris within and under the laser cutter, making sure to get in and around the gantry rails.
Remove the knives from their housing. These are the metal slats that support the honeycomb.
Vacuum the interior vents and fans to prevent clogging over time.
7.1 With a flathead screwdriver loosen the silver hose clamp enough to take it off the fan
7.2 Check the fan for any dust build up, if there is any you can just wipe/scrape it off
7.3 Reconnect the hose to the fan and tighten the clamp
With the interior fully vacuumed, you can replace the knives.
Flip the honeycomb grid so the previous face is facing down. Return the honeycomb grid to the bed. This distributes wear.
Clean the laser lens and all reflectors.
Then check alignment of the mirrors to make sure they have not been disturbed.
You have successfully cleaned out the Boss Laser laser cutter!
do not use the White Lithium Grease with the dark blue design. The excess dust & soot sticks to the Lithium Grease and could become flammable.
