Follow these steps for controlling the ShopBot CNC Router.
You can make machine reservations in the following ways:
Safety Check:
Sturdy, close-toed shoes must be worn at all times.
Long hair, jewelry, and loose clothing must be tied back.
Safety glasses and earmuffs must be worn while machines are running.
A dust mask or a NIOSH certified respirator is recommended.

Variable.
"On" is red and "Off" is green.
Disengage both e-stops by twisting and pulling out. One e-stop is located on the gantry, and the other is on the controller next to the computer.
Engage the spindle by turning the key on the control box from "Disengaged" to "Engaged."
Press the reset button the controller. Make sure you hear a click sound from the control panel.
If you do not hear a click after you hit the reset button double check that the machine is turned on and both e-stops have been disengaged.
The ShopBot is controlled using the SB3 software located on the desktop of each machine's corresponding computer. Anytime you are moving the machine, observe the following for your safety:
Launch SB3 from the Desktop.
Click the yellow button in the red Position panel to open the Keypad panel.
You can also open the Keypad panel by pressing K on the keyboard.
Do not use the keyboard arrows to try and move the gantry.
Alternatively, you can type C3 in the command line to move each axis to its home location.
Command C3 can also be accessed under Cuts > C3
The coordinates will be based on the previously set X, Y and Z zeroes.
