Leatherworking is a broad topic that covers a large number of tools and techniques. Open Works has some tools to do some basic leatherworking tasks, such as punching holes and installing grommets.
A membership or day pass is required to access the Textiles shop.
The Shop Safety Class Sewing 1 Shop Safety is required before using the leather working tools.
You do not need to reserve these tools.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
• Sturdy, close-toed shoes must be worn at all times.
• Long hair, jewelry, and loose clothing must be tied back.

Sewing Leather is much easier with the holes for the needle pre-punched. Use an awl or leather chisel to make the holes, then sew the leather using a needle and waxed thread.
